Case Study

The image shows the logo of GCC of America. The logo features an abstract, interlocking square design with one square in blue and another in red on the left. To the right of the design is the text "GCC" in blue, with "of America" written beneath in smaller blue letters.

The Challenge

GCC of America, a large producer of cement, ready-mixed concrete and aggregates, has facilities across the U.S. This established company has large fluctuations in their recruiting needs and is often hiring for unique positions in more rural locations. To add bandwidth to their internal recruiting and HR department, a wide variety of outside recruiting agencies were brought in to work with the different hiring managers. GCC wanted to streamline and improve their recruiting process by working with a single external recruiting consultant, rather than many.

The Solution

Creative Alignments was selected to handle a majority of recruiting for GCC’s exempt level roles. Given our ability to tap into the knowledge base of our collaborative recruiting team and a deep network of people, we were able to help GCC find great employees for some very hard-to-fill roles. Given the number of roles GCC needs to hire at any given time, we are able to both add bandwidth to their internal team, and to provide training for hiring managers to improve recruiting success. This has included consulting with them on ways to improve the candidate experience, their strategic recruiting process and employment branding.

"The decision to outsource the exempt talent acquisition needs for a multinational company was huge for us, but thankfully, our trusted recruiting partner, Creative Alignments, has made the process seamless. The construction / manufacturing industry was a new foray for Creative Alignments, but their bright and responsive team was quick to dive in, do their research and learn our business. With their client-aligned model, they've filled more than 30 positions for us across a broad range of functions and U.S. locations. We couldn't be happier with their work!"
