About Proxies
We created Proxies for when you want something to drink but you’re not drinking. By blending wine grapes, fruits, teas, spices, and natural botanicals, Proxies go way beyond the grape to capture everything that makes wine a great pairing with food—acidity, body, and tannin—without the alcohol.
In three and a half short years, Proxies has launched more than 80 blends, including celebrity collaborations with award-winning chefs and sommeliers, and been featured by publications such as Food & Wine, Wine Enthusiast, Forbes, Bloomberg, and Bon Appétit. What You Will Do
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will report directly to the board of directors and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, particularly focusing on wholesale expansion. You’ll oversee fiscal activities, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. Collaborating with the board, you’ll define our values and mission, setting both short- and long-term goals that inspire and drive our success.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader to drive growth in the CPG and Beverage Alcohol adjacent arenas, particularly in retail and high-volume on-premise. You’ll define and execute a clear vision, working closely with our team to expand into new markets while honoring our established roots. In this role, you’ll challenge the norm and take smart risks to deliver real results. Your practical approach and analytical mindset will help you address operational challenges effectively.
