What You Will Do

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for providing technical support to field sales as directed by management. You will be working closely with contractors and key engineering accounts, and internally with sales and product engineering teams to develop and maintain relationships with customers. You’ll be calling on engineers, architects, contractors, builders, government agencies, etc. to ensure all products are in every applicable section of their master specifications by developing long-term relationships with key account decision-makers. You’ll be delivering professional product presentations, specification review and revision services, and technical sales assistance as needed and you will also be soliciting new customers to increase demand for products. This will involve working with cross-functional teams in the revision of existing product specifications and assisting with the development of new product specifications. You’ll also be calling on local and state code officials to ensure accurate code interpretation and proper installation of our products. You will maintain monthly reports and forecasts, track expenses, and update the CRM and specification database.

You are an experienced industry sales professional highly adept with technical specifications and building relationships. You are organized and have a track record of developing plans for strategic accounts. You’re quick to resolve technical questions and strive to exceed customer satisfaction.

● Base: $97,000.00 to $132,000.00 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.

● Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
